We use an all rubber infill which is made out of recycled tires.  We do not use silica sand for three reasons.

Yes! Top Turf is very pet friendly and is made with non-toxic, non-harmful materials. With Top Turf, you would pick-up after your pet just as you would with natural grass. And you can always hose down an area if the need arises. The water will drain through to the soil just as in real grass.
